Pandora is a Limsa native with an insatiable love for knowledge. This led her to eventually pursue an education at the Arcanists Guild where she met her mentor, Vulispa, who took her under her wing and showed her the life she had always dreamed of having. 

 

It would seem, however, that the Spinner had another Fate planned for her. While Pandora was out on an assignment near the Ruins of Nym she found herself caught in an Atherical anomaly that created a vicious imbalance in her personal Aether signature. With no family left alive to care for her, and only a modest amount of gil to survive Moon to Moon on it seemed that her bright future had grown dim. 

 

That was until Vulispa chose to take on the task of healing the Elezen, herself. This meant that Pandora would spend a great deal of time in a remote location where she would work day and night to regain control of her Aether.

 

Pandora's dedication and hard work paired with her mentor's insight, knowledge, and well-advanced healing skills would produce the desired outcome in the long run and most recently she found herself clear to return to the life she thought she had left behind.
