Kletlona's parents relocated their family from the hustle and bustle of Limsa to the quiet green of Gridania after deeming the docs unfit to raise a happy, healthy child. Upon her mother's insistence, they joined a cult-like clan of nomads who roamed the deepest, most remote areas of the shroud. The clan had a close relationship with the Sylphs, and often traversed the dangerous Sylphlands in order to assist them in day to day duties, trade with them, and to worship the Lord of Levin.

The events at Castrum Abania drew Kletlona, an experienced healer, out of the Sylphlands and onto the frontlines of the resistance in Gyr Abania. She did her part by healing wounded resistance fighters and all the while learned about life outside the Shroud for the first time. Because of her extremely sheltered upbringing, she stood out as socially awkward, shy, and naïve when it came to matters of 'civilization'. She may be a bit unotrhodox, but Kletlona is as gentle as they come!
